Food for thought. Keep your chin up!
For about a year now I have noticed when I run, I typically am looking down at the ground, daydreaming away.
About a year or more ago, I was feeling a bit more exhausted on one of my runs than usual. I was struggling but I didn’t want to stop. It was a gorgeous day here in Los Angeles and I was nice and sweaty. For some reason as I was trying to push through, I wiped some sweat off my face and looked up, wanting to feel the sun on my face and a little bit more breeze. Right at that moment I felt an immense surge of energy. I really did! I felt so alive! My music seemed louder and I could hear every instrument playing. The entire run I kept looking up at the crisp blue sky and started throwing my hands in the air to the beat of the music smiling my way to the finish.
I ran faster than I had at any moment that day finishing 3 and some miles like a lightning bolt. I felt incredible.
After that day I started trying out this new theory I had in my head.
