In this video I show you from my personal experience, 5 outfits to flatter your curves and help with confidence. These are clothes/styles that I am reaching for lately because not only have I always had curves, but I tend to fluctuate in weight about 5-10 lbs periodically. Right now I have put on about 8-10 lbs of what I normally weigh. I explain a little more on my previous blog posts on body image. So I thought it was a perfect time to film this video because I can’t just wear anything out of my closet right now. I have to think more on combining certain pieces together to flatter my body and help boost my confidence. Confidence is a huge topic for me and one I am always looking to tackle so I thought I would share these outfit choices with you that are helping me right now.
I chose to keep one of my skinny pants on to show in these 5 outfit ideas because I still wear them ( even thought they barely button), I just have to be pickier about what top I pair them with.
Things to remember when choosing your outfits.
- Try on different clothes that are form fitting in different areas. For example a loose shirt that has form fitting arms or one that is tighter at the hips.
- The fitting room is your best friend. Try on everything, make it your runway, take pictures and decide what you feel best in.
- Remember buying a size up isn’t always a bad thing when it fits you better!
